Welcome to Issue 52 of the INOU e-Bulletin!
In this issue we hear from the INOU Training Unit as they prepare to take in new students for the next year. We have an overview of the INOU Pre-Budget Submission for 2023, this year themed around Building Resilience as we face the many crises which make living more difficult. We also have a summary of the INOU submission on the phasing in of the Living Wage ; and the development of a White Paper on Enterprise .
We will hear about the call for an energy poverty strategy, led by Community Law and Mediation, joined by the INOU and eighteen other organisations. There is an article looking at the impact of long Covid for people on a Jobseeker’s payment and another looking at the recent raising of Housing Assistance Payment limits. From our affiliates we have articles about the Return of Employment Fairs , and the impact of joining a Community Employment scheme.
