A poetic response to full employment

In response to our call for e-bulletin articles, an Individual Member sent us the following poem.

"We have full employment"

I am annoyed when I regularly hear "we have full employment" from Fine Gael
and smug disconnected media voices.
At the high skills end, sure, there are plenty of jobs that there are no
people for.
But at the low skills end - there are plenty of people that there are no
jobs for.
Every entry level job has plenty of applicants.

Recruitment agencies are in a relentless profit driven pursuit to
import masses of people for every job post going.
Employers are intrigued by all this "talent pipeline".

The Irish unemployed need the protection of the state against this
libertarian agenda.
There will always be unemployed people.
How do we have "full employment" when 80% of Irish Travelers are jobless?
