Both Shaping Futures and Building Futures programs have been actively engaged in a variety of enriching activities since the start of 2025.
Mini-Recruitment Event: In partnership with INTREO Pearse Street's Employer Relations Unit, the INOU hosted a successful mini-recruitment event at the Learning Hub. Students gained valuable insights from representatives of LinkedIn, Emeis Healthcare, The Lighthouse, Community Credit Union, and INTREO.
Shaping Futures Training: Shaping Futures participants achieved impressive milestones, earning HACCP Level 1 and 2 certifications, a manual handling certificate, and completing barista training with the Irish Barista Academy. (See photos for highlights!)
Building Futures Training: Building Futures participants engaged in two days of addiction studies with Uurus which they thoroughly enjoyed and gained a lot of knowledge around the area of addiction.
Joint Program Workshop: Both Shaping Futures and Building Futures enjoyed a "Start Your Own Business" workshop led by Margaret from Inner City Enterprise, hosted by the INOU.
