CE Vacancy Test

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility to participate in Community Employment will have to be verified by the Department of Social Protection to process your application.

You can register your interest by loging into MyGov.ie or by contacting a Case Officer in your Local Intreo Centre.

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

You will be working as part of a team providing an Information Service by telephone and email in a friendly and professional working environment. We will help you get job-ready, with FULL ON THE JOB TRAINING, up-to-date experience in a national, non-government organisation and a personalised Training and Development plan to help you achieve a new career or return to work.

Duties include

• Providing Information and Advocacy Services by telephone and e-mail
• Assisting with production of the INOU's publication - ‘Working for Work'
• Assisting in updating Welfare Rights Information on the INOU website
• Maintaining records and details of queries received
• Attending events where the INOU provides an Information Service
• Providing Information and Advocacy services on a wide range of Social and Civil issues
